Martham Scarecrow Festival won an award at Great Yarmouth Tourism and Business Awards at the Town Hall. The festival was the winner in the Community Contribution Category. Our thanks must go to Stevev and Julie Beales and Peter and Liz Carpenter for all their hard work in putting on the Scarecrow Festival. Also to the hundreds of people in the village who make scarecrows, do yarn bombing and all the other decorations.
