Martham and District Gardening Club Events Programme 2026

  • Saturday 17th January
    Seed Swap and Tombola event in Martham village hall 2.00pm – 4.00pm
    If you have collected any seeds from your garden or have any seeds left over from sowing this year why not
    bring them along and swap them for other seeds you might like to sow in the spring and save yourself some
    money.
    Please make sure all packets are labelled with what they are. We have some spare envelopes for you to use
    so please ask if you would like some.
    Entrance to this event will be free to members, you will need to bring your membership card (2025 or
    2026) with you. There is a charge of £1 for non-members.
    There will also be a tombola with many generous prizes being donated once again from businesses in the
    area.
    The Martham Defibrillator Project will be running their jigsaw and books stall.
    Drinks and cakes will be available. Drinks will be free to members.
    You can also renew your membership at this event and book onto the March spring garden visit, and
    the July coach trip.

  • Thursday March 19th at 1.30pm
    visit to Shropham Vicarage garden, near Attleborough.
    This is a Spring Garden guided walk led by Guy Barker. Cost is £5 for members and £10 for nonmembers.
    Refreshments included. Payment is due at the time of booking which opens at our
    meeting on 10th November 2025.

    Plant Sale on the small green 9.00am – 1pm
  • June – Garden Party and walk around members gardens TBC
  • Saturday 18th July – Coach Trip to Green Island Garden, Colchester, and Fullers Mill Garden, Bury St
    Edmunds.
    Cost is £10 for members and £25 for non-members, this includes entry to both gardens. This is a full
    day trip. Refreshments are NOT included. Payment is due at the time of booking which opens at our
    meeting on 10th November 2025.
