Notice of Martham Carnival Road Closures on on Sunday 14 July 2024 from Norfolk County Council

NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 16A AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION (SPECIAL EVENTS) ACT 1994 IN THE PARISH OF MARTHAM ON SUNDAY 14 JULY 2024TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC MOVEMENT

Norfolk County Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate the Martham Community Carnival, they intend to make a Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic on the temporarily prohibiting the use by vehicles of the C640 Repps Road from the junction with 62002 Marlborough Green Crescent, along C640 Repps Road, C640 White Street, 69351 School Road, and C456 Staithe Road then C456 Black Street in in the PARISH OF MARTHAM.

The Order will come into effect on Sunday 14 July 2024 and will remain in force for 2 hours and 30 minutes.

The road will be temporarily restricted (except for emergency and pedestrian access) on Sunday 14 July 2024 between 13:00 hrs and 15:30 hrs.

Restrictions on traffic will only be enforced until normal traffic flow can be maintained.

Where appropriate during the period of the closure, temporary suspension of existing permanent Traffic Orders may be imposed.
